Another TED post
In my last post I talked about the TED awards and James Nachtwey. Another notable photographer who won the prize back in 2005 was Edward Burtynsky. Burtynsky is famous for showing the impact man has made on nature in his photographs. He focuses on our dependence on nature but the fact that were killing the earth as well. The photograph above is of a copper mine in Western Australia.

Man's impact has created some beautiful images...but how beautiful was it before?
ReplyDeleteIts a terrible fact that man continues to rape the earth and just leaving their destructive ways behind for others to repair... if it is possible.
